This journal is going to be a bit long, as it's a REAL update to let everyone know the stuff I'm working on.

DeviantArt Related:  I didn't go through journals or literature, but I skimmed through all my friends' galleries and tried to comment and fave on some stuff I missed during my weird on and off string of absence.  Even though I won't be on here every day, let's hope I can at least keep up with you guys!  What I really need to do is going into my watch list and uncheck tons of journals and turn off group deviations as well (for most, not all).  I just get way too many messages to possibly go through and I filter through and only look at friends 90% of the time anyway, aside from maybe a handful of my favorite artists.  I will probably keep deviations up for most people I watch, but journals need to go.  I need to get in the habit of unchecking boxes when I watch someone new.

General Art Progress:  Alright, well, now that the weather is cooling off here in the U.S. I may be able to clean up my art space in the shed and work out there again.  In the summer it was just too freaking hot!  It was unbearable, even with the windows open.  There was just no way.  But now, it feels nice, and I can deal with the cold when it gets into winter.  I have a heater and sweaters and blankets, that's no issue.  But it's hard to escape heat!

This means art should be happening more often again.  I have a bunch of commission and trades and even prizes I need to crank out, so expect those to be popping out bit by bit.  I'm working on them, please bear with me.  There's a lot of insanity going on in this house and I can't give nearly as much attention to art as I would like right now.  I'll be certain to let you know as soon as it's done!  A lot of my commissioners I'm still waiting on pay (some we've talked about this, so it's no big deal - others, we need to talk), and others who I'm trading with, if you haven't finished it, it's no rush unless you want to go ahead and do it.

Game Updates:  Game progress is slow, because I've been busy.  I started a Skyrim mod, but also, slow.  The Creation Kit crashes a lot and I was having issues being able to test it (it won't let me for some reason) so it'll be a long time before any of this is ready to see the light of day.  I'll keep beta testers and whatnot updated.  The next test for the pixel RPG will be after I finish the layout of the first dungeon.  I've currently finished the town and field base for the most part, there's one room left in the clock tower to do and then I start the dungeon.  I think I can have the pixel RPG close to finished if not done already by October of 2015.  If it takes longer than that I'll be really surprised, I honestly think I'm overestimating if I actually get to working on it quite diligently.

The mod, for Skyrim fans, will start a weapon and follower quest mod - you finish the quest when you find the weapon and follower, basically - and they will be special and tied together in ways that people familiar with my Shontovia story will understand.  After finding the two, you will be asked to find someone else, and that will lead you to a new land - the Isles of Shontovia - which is as it sounds.  Multiple islands inspired by the land in my series.  There's going to be quests based around my original story with a Skyrim twist and original voice acting, and more potential followers along the way - all who will be originally voice acted.  Sounds like a lot of crazy, long, hard work, and it is!  I don't expect to finish it for at least a year because I'm very inexperienced with modding right now and will be learning as I go, but I will be recording the progress as I make significant steps and showcasing it on YouTube.  This is a very big step in modding experience.

I have a couple smaller follower mods I want to make which will also be voice acted (those meant to speak anyway).  I want to make an armored goat follower named Jake.  In real life, I love goats and want to keep them as pets, and I will, when I have my own house.  In Skyrim, I use a mod called Goatfrey, which is a follower mod which allows you to have a goat come with you on your adventures, and there's a few dialogue options that allow him to carry stuff for you and you can feed him.  But I was thinking... the dogs often get armor now.  There are so many armored dog mods.  Why not the goat?  Should be simple enough.  I plan on working on this after commission are caught up.  I don't see it taking too long.

I've considered making a voice acted Carman werecat follower.  I've considered it for a while but after I began playing with Inigo, who is just so... real in a sense, I just can't get enough.  Interactive, custom followers are the best thing.  I've used a few, and it really feels like you're playing with someone if they're done right.  You can even have pretty in depth conversations with Inigo to a point.  I want more followers like that out there!  I'd probably do the dialogue myself once I get my recording setup.. well, set up.  It'd be a little strange to run through my own playthrough with her outside of testing because I play as Carman, but it would be really cool to make another in depth follower.  Skyrim really lacks them outside of Serana and the modding community is really where are the best of the best followers can be found.  Especially if I can make her "werewolf" transformation look like her black wolf-lion form she actually takes in my series.  I also thought of finding a way to make her be able to transform into essentially a sabrecat reworked as the creature.  We'll see.

Sculptures:  I got some proper sealant so I can rework Lo and finish him up like he was originally meant to be.  On top of that, when he's done, I'll be making more of my characters in a similar manner.  And one step further, I have a plan to make some Studio Ghibli film characters into sculptures which I will most likely be selling because I can't afford not to but I really, really want to make them.  I KNOW I'm going to be doing a Princess Mononoke piece with the princess herself "riding into battle" astride the wolf trio.  I also want to do the forest spirit and the old boar, as well as Totoro, CatBus, half transformed Howl, and maybe if I finish all those and want to keep on, I'll make some Spirited Away sculptures of Haku, no face, and the old man whose name I've forgotten.

If you read all that, well... I love you lol  Hope you guys are as excited as I am!
